Can a person fall away from Grace? Part 2
Yesterday we focused on if it is possible to fall out of grace and we found out that yes it is possible.
No matter how much of God’s Grace we have it is possible to fall out of Grace.
Often people think that salvation is found through someone rather than our own step towards it.
Our Salvation comes through Jesus! We need to make steps towards him.
John 16:8-11
8 When he comes, he will prove the world to be in the wrong about sin and righteousness and judgment: 9 about sin, because people do not believe in me; 10 about righteousness, because I am going to the Father, where you can see me no longer; 11 and about judgment, because the prince of this world now stands condemned.
When Jesus comes he will prove the world wrong about sin, righteousness and judgment.
Sin is mentioned in a singular for and not a plural form, so it is a particular sin that is not believing in Christ.
That is the greatest sin, not believing in Christ.
People don’t go to hell not because they killed people or did wrong to others but when they don’t believe in the Son of God.
When they don’t believe in Jesus.
Jesus does on the cross not just for the ones who believe in him but also non believers.
A when you recieve the Holy Spirt you will have a realisation of Jesus being your saviour.
Hebrews 3:12-13
12 See to it, brothers and sisters, that none of you has a sinful, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God. 13 But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called “Today,” so that none of you may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness.
You must bear distrust God, that turns you away from the living God.
In simple words, You can fall from Grace the minute you reject Jesus.
God never changes, our faith in Gods has to be strong.
We must make ourselves strong in the word so that nothing can take us away from him.
Luke 8:13
13 Those on the rocky ground are the ones who receive the word with joy when they hear it, but they have no root. They believe for a while, but in the time of testing they fall away.
We must be firm and not fall.
Pray everyday and stay strong in the Word of God.
