Worship Establishes The Lordship Of Jesus

4. When we exalt Jesus, His lordship is established in us. 
Philippians 2:9-11 Therefore God exalted him to the highest place
and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Revelation 1:10-19 On the Lord’s Day I was in the Spirit, and I heard behind me a loud voice like a trumpet, which said: “Write on a scroll what you see and send it to the seven churches: to Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia and Laodicea.” I turned around to see the voice that was speaking to me. And when I turned I saw seven golden lampstands, and among the lampstands was someone like a son of man, dressed in a robe reaching down to his feet and with a golden sash around his chest. The hair on his head was white like wool, as white as snow, and his eyes were like blazing fire. His feet were like bronze glowing in a furnace, and his voice was like the sound of rushing waters. In his right hand he held seven stars, and coming out of his mouth was a sharp, double-edged sword. His face was like the sun shining in all its brilliance. When I saw him, I fell at his feet as though dead. Then he placed his right hand on me and said: “Do not be afraid. I am the First and the Last. I am the Living One; I was dead, and now look, I am alive for ever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and Hades.“Write, therefore, what you have seen, what is now and what will take place later.

Apostle John who leaned on Jesus’ bosom on the Passover night was now witnessing the resurrected Jesus in His glory and the description of His appearance was like that of a Roman magistrate, ready to judge.
Worship causes us to have a deeper sense of Jesus Christ’s Lordship. 

5. As you worship, you get guidance from the Holy Spirit. 
Acts 13:2-5 While they were worshiping the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, “Set apart for me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.” So after they had fasted and prayed, they placed their hands on them and sent them off. The two of them, sent on their way by the Holy Spirit, went down to Seleucia and sailed from there to Cyprus. When they arrived at Salamis, they proclaimed the word of God in the Jewish synagogues. John was with them as their helper.

The church received guidance for Paul and Baranabas’ ministry as they worshipped the Lord. Similarly, the Holy Spirit will guide us pertaining to our life matters - be it job, marriage, ministry, construction of a house, etc.

Isaiah 58:11 The LORD will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail.

All these blessings come upon us when we worship the Lord.
