Amazing Faith
God is able to change the lives of people. Delay is not denial. If your prayer hasn’t been answered yet, it doesn’t mean God will not move in your life. God has all the resources to ensure a good life for you. He has the ability to carry you till your last breath. We shouldn’t underestimate God.
Hebrews 11:6
And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.
God has provided for you all your life. But we tend to doubt Him and think that He has done nothing for you. We tend to be ungrateful.
We need to keep on believing and have faith in God. Delay is not denial!
Belated blessings are big blessings. Abraham waited a long time for his son, Isaac. But God moved so powerfully through Isaac’s life! Generations came out of him.
Hannah bore a child so late in life while all the women around her were blessed with children. But now, we all know Hannah’s son was the powerful prophet Samuel!
God wants to show you that you do not rely on people, or a job, or a child, or anything in this life. Your life is in God’s hands!
There was a man of God in Rudrapur. He used to pray for cows more than for people. They depended on cows for their livelihood. In that community, any time a cow was sick they would call this Pastor to pray over the cow and it would be healed. If God pays attention to even the domestic animals in our homes, imagine how mindful He is of us!
Luke 7:1-10
A centurion’s servant was sick and he sent his soldiers to ask Jesus to pray over the daughter. They told Jesus that he deserves the prayer because he helped build the synagogue. When Jesus was on his way to the person's house, he sent more people to Jesus to tell him that he needn’t come home. This was because he felt he did not consider himself worthy to have Jesus come to his home. He believed that Jesus needed only speak a word of healing. He was a man of authority and knew the power of his word and instructions.
When Jesus heard of his faith, He was amazed as he hadn’t seen such faith even in the Israelites!
This is called amazing faith, that amazed even Jesus. There were a few instances where people’s faith amazed Jesus. These were all gentiles!
You may pray, fast, tithe, and read the Word religiously, but it is true simple faith that pleases God.
When the soldiers returned to the home, they saw the servant was healed! This is amazing faith that please God and brings healing.
