Satan Will Soon Be Crushed
If today is the Day of Favour/Grace, the Day of Judgement will also come. The moment a person confesses with their mouth that Jesus is Lord and believes it, they are saved. This can be any moment, even their last; just like the criminal who died on the cross with Jesus. God can save anyone. This is the era of grace.
Romans 8:1
There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
If you think of this in the other way, there is condemnation for those who are not in Jesus. The Word of God is preached across the world so anyone who hears and does not receive, has no excuse.
There is power in the gospel to save anyone who believes. Age or status or education doesn’t matter; anyone can be saved. Salvation is free for all. But still there are many who refuse to receive it, instead they make fun of those who speak the gospel.
Romans 1:16 says “For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile.”
There is power in the Gospel to save anyone who believes. The door to receive the gospel is open to everyone regardless of their age, status etc.
When people partner together, they can reach more people in an exponential manner. God needs each of us and expects us to share the gospel in various ways.
Romans 16:20
The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus be with you.
Sometimes many of us are afraid of the devil. But when we read the Word, we understand that God created only humans as just below God. Man is created in the image of God. Angels were created even below humans. Satan was an angel who was dispelled from heaven. Satan scares us through various tricks.
1 Peter 5:8
Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.
The devil only sounds like a lion. This can seem scary but we should realise that he cannot touch us! The strategy of the lion is to roar in a way that will scatter a group of animals. A lion always picks one prey that is alone. This is why we should always have a fellowship! A person who remains alone apart from a fellowship falls prey to addictions, depression etc.
It is the promise of God that He will soon crush Satan under our feet. Jesus has already crushed Satan on the cross. But now He wants us to do it. The grace and power of the Word will empower us to do so.
Hebrews 4:12
For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.
The Word of God has the power to fight and do amazing things! We need to praise God and shout in His joy and celebrate always, because we know that we are overcomers in Christ! We need to step out of our misery and celebrate the Victory because of what God has called us for! God will redeem us and honour us in places where we have been defeated.
God has not called us to cry in a valley, he has called us to shout victory and dance on the mountain tops!
