Sowing And Reaping: Part 3
Genesis 1:11-12
‘Then God said, “Let the land produce vegetation: seed-bearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruit with seed in it, according to their various kinds.” And it was so. The land produced vegetation: plants bearing seed according to their kinds and trees bearing fruit with seed in it according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good.’
The land that was once barren produced crops, trees and all kinds of plants when God spoke. Every seed has a code engraved in it by God. Each seed gives rise to a new plant.
The different seasons and climates are essential for sowing and reaping.
Sowing is important for a person’s future.
Keep this principle in mind - plant one seed today and you will receive a great harvest in the days to come.
Luke 6:31
‘Do to others as you would have them do to you.’
This is God’s golden principle for us.
A teacher back in primary school once told me that whenever he got a new plant, he would give it to his neighbours too. This was so that if there comes a day when his plant dies, he could always ask his neighbours.
This is your reminder to start helping others. When you begin to help others in times of need, you will reap its harvest one day.
Your life is a seed. Don’t waste it. You need to sow it wisely and carefully. Sow it for the kingdom of God.
Quantity and quality of the seed increases through sowing and harvesting.
Three laws to sowing and reaping:
The whole world is a mirror.
Matthew 13:8
‘Still other seed fell on good soil, where it produced a crop—a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown.’
