The Holy Spirit Is Waiting For You
Spiritual revival/ awakening is a much needed necessity in the present day world. Many Christians are sleeping spiritually and have become spiritually dead. It is the Holy Spirit who ignites us to be connected to God.
In Matthew 25.1-14, in the parable of the ten virgins, Jesus warns us to be ready and watchful. Only the five who were ready were able to enter with the bridegroom. The other five were not prepared.
Ecclesiastes 12.1 says “Remember your Creator in the days of your youth, before the days of trouble come and the years approach when you will say, “I find no pleasure in them”
The Word of God is a lamp to our feet and a guide to us. We need the Holy Spirit to help us to fight the flesh. No flesh can boast except in the Lord. We need both the outer and inner strength. Samson fell because he had only outer strength and so he fell. The inner strength given to us by the Holy Spirit will help us not to fall as he did with Joseph.
We should never grieve the Holy Spirit and must value His presence in our lives as He is God Himself dwelling in us. The inner strength is for our personal benefit but the anointing or power of the Holy Spirit helps us to be a witness of Jesus.
We have the revelation of the glorification of Jesus only through the Holy Spirit. We do not receive the Holy Spirit because of anything we do. We receive Him because Jesus is glorified and sits at the right hand of God and secondly Jesus gave Him to us as a gift from the Father.
We don’t have to wait for Him, He is already here and waiting for us. 2000 years back, He came to earth and manifested as a wind, fire, oil, river etc. He is a person who is God but has different kinds of manifestations. When we truly believe that God has already given us salvation, we don’t have to pray for it, only praise and thank God for salvation, eternal life etc. It is unbelief when we pray for something like forgiveness etc which God has already given us.

- Because the Lord Jesus died on the Cross (crucifixion), I have received forgiveness of sins.
- Because the Lord Jesus rose from the dead (resurrection), I have received a new life (new born experience).
- Because the Lord Jesus has been exalted to the right hand of the Father (glorification), I have received the outpouring of the Holy Spirit ( Spirit Baptism).
