He Will Never Leave You
In the Bible, we see ‘God remembered’ in many places (God remembered Rachel, God remembered Noah, God remembered Abraham) which doesn’t mean that He forgot them for a while to think of them again one fine day, but as per the Biblical language, it simply means, “God is now getting into action”.
Hebrews 6:10 God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them.
We might forget people and the things that people do for us, but God never forgets.
In Psalm 8:3,4, David is amazed at the way God cares for us: “When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, what is mankind that you are mindful of them, human beings that you care for them?”
Psalm 136:23 He remembered us in our low estate, His love endures forever.
God’s nature is such that He loves and remembers us even when we are nobody, when we don’t know anything or don’t understand the Word and even when we are living an ungodly life.
David who was anointed at the age of 17 to be a King, yet had to face many struggles in his life till he turned 30; and God exalted him in due time. Moses at the age of 40, stood for a good cause, to save his fellow brothers from their enemies, but he had to leave everything (the palace, his high position and education as he was well-trained in the Egyptian university) and was now in the desert tending the sheep.
We might have a similar story, where we had everything and were in a high position, but are currently in a situation where you have nothing and nobody around us to even comfort us. It doesn’t mean your life would be the same forever; God is not unjust to forget you, but He is a God of restoration and will come to your rescue.
Joseph was mistreated by his own brothers who threw him into the cistern and sold him, but after 13 long years of brutal phase in his life, he was made the head of Egypt. God trains some in the palace and uses them in the desert for His people (Moses) and God uses some to minister to the people from the palace after they’ve been trained in the desert (Joseph).
In the initial verses of Mark 8, Jesus performed a great miracle of multiplying the bread and fish to feed around 4000 people. But after that, He went to the region of Dalmanutha, where people weren’t receptive, criticized Him and asked for a sign, it was a dry atmosphere and Jesus groaned in the spirit. It doesn’t mean that His ministry was ineffective for the rest of His life on Earth. Jesus got back into the boat and crossed to the other side and gave specific instruction to the disciples and then healed a blind man at Bethsaida. We may go through phases in life where it seems like God has forgotten us because our prayers are unanswered, no supernatural experiences, no miracles/testimonies, and instead people criticize and question our faith in Jesus. That’s not the end of our life/ministry, we just have to press on and move forward.
You might be currently going through a Dalmanutha experience, but that’s a temporary period, after which you’ll be geared up to greater experiences, greater miracles and greater ministry. God is going to change your current situation! He can bring you to heights that you can never imagine based on your current situation, just as how the cistern into which Joseph was thrown into by his own brothers, the incident at Potipher’s house, and the dungeon cannot be equated to the throne/ the palace/ the position that God later gave him.
God is not unjust to forget your prayers, your fasting, your service and giving to the Lord. Joseph and David waited 13 years, Abraham had to wait for 25years, Moses waited for 40 years. Your waiting period in the Lord is not a wasting period. God is a trustworthy God! God’s nature is highly different from ours - we’re limited, He’s unlimited; we’re inconsistent, but God is consistent/immutable/unchangeable. God’s way of doing things and His timings are different from our ways and our timings; and that’s why we face troubles in our walk of faith.

In John 5, we see a man who was disabled for 38 years and had nobody to help him get to the pool for his healing. All this while he was surrounded by sick people who were groaning and grumbling; but one day, Jesus came to his life and he was healed. He picked up his mat and walked. God can bring such a huge change in your life as well.
In John 11, Jesus did not come into the scene when Lazarus was sick or when he died and even for his burial. Jesus came there only four days after Lazarus’ burial. People would have questioned and criticized Martha and Mary for their faith in Jesus, and even though it seemed too late to human minds for a miracle, Jesus walked in at the right timing and there took place a more glorious miracle!
God will never forget you. In the right time, He will remember you and get into action for you .
Luke 18:1-8 Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up. He said: “In a certain town there was a judge who neither feared God nor cared what people thought. And there was a widow in that town who kept coming to him with the plea, ‘Grant me justice against my adversary.’ “For some time he refused. But finally he said to himself, ‘Even though I don’t fear God or care what people think, yet because this widow keeps bothering me, I will see that she gets justice, so that she won’t eventually come and attack me!’ ” And the Lord said, “Listen to what the unjust judge says. And will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off? I tell you, he will see that they get justice, and quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?”
If the unjust judge ensured that the widow would get justice, how much more would the good and righteous God answer your prayers. And therefore, Jesus tells us not to give up in your prayer life. Stay connected to God at all times.
Isaiah 49:15,16 "Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I will not forget you! See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands; your walls are ever before me.
Hebrews 13:5 God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.”
