Honour the Lord with your wealth
Some people read the Bible just for information gathering or curiosity not out of thirst for God.
1) Follow God wholeheartedly
2) Partner with God
Our first life partner is God,
He is our eternal partner.
We must always live in partnership with God.
God lives inside of us, in whatever you do glorify God.
God does not want to do anything without us. He wants our partnership.
3) We must do our duties
4) Manage what you have faithfully.
Some people who earn lakhs end up being broke. That is because of mismanagement. Even though they earn well, they do not have peace. We all need to learn to manage our money.
5) Cast all your anxiety on Jesus.
1 Peter 5:6-7 NIV
6 Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. 7 Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.
6) Honour the Lord with your wealth.
Proverbs 3:9-10
9 Honor the Lord with your wealth,
with the first fruits of all your crops;
10 then your barns will be filled to overflowing,
and your vats will brim over with new wine.
The one who honours God will be honoured by God. Here it says honour the God with your wealth.
Honour the Lord with what you have.
We as believers must not say that nature is blessing us or the universe is blessing us. We must glorify God, always. And then you will be blessed in abundance.
Job 1:21-22
21“Naked I came from my mother’s womb,
and naked I will depart.
The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away;
may the name of the Lord be praised.”
22 In all this, Job did not sin by charging God with wrongdoing.
We must thank God for whatever he’s done in our lives, for what he's doing and what he says no to.
We must say a praise even when things don’t go our way.
