Overcome Your Goliath
Many people pray just because they have been used to a daily prayer and not because they see God moving in their lives.
They don’t do life transforming prayers.
You need to tell God that you need a change in life, like how Jabez did. God hears our prayer!
Ordinary prayers will bring ordinary results but extraordinary prayers will bring extraordinary results.
Many substitute watching a message or playing worship songs for personal prayer but that is not.
Prayer is talking to God, discussing and interacting with him.
Extraordinary prayers unlock the blessings in our life. Learn to pray extraordinary prayers. Your prayers can turn the tables upside down and can change your life for the better.
We must learn to give God the first place in our lives.
We must know our inheritance and possess it!
But what is our inheritance?
To unlock the blessings in our lives we must learn to overcome our Goliath.
Everyone has a Goliath to conquer.
1 Samuel 27:1-4
David Among the Philistines
1 But David thought to himself, “One of these days I will be destroyed by the hand of Saul. The best thing I can do is to escape to the land of the Philistines. Then Saul will give up searching for me anywhere in Israel, and I will slip out of his hand.”
2 So David and the six hundred men with him left and went over to Achish son of Maok king of Gath. 3 David and his men settled in Gath with Achish. Each man had his family with him, and David had his two wives: Ahinoam of Jezreel and Abigail of Carmel, the widow of Nabal. 4 When Saul was told that David had fled to Gath, he no longer searched for him.

King Saul promises to give 3 great rewards to the person who kills Goliath.
1) Wealth
2) Marriage to the princess
3) Tax exemption for the entire family
David had to fight Goliath to unlock his blessings.
Today I ask you, what is your Goliath?
Every person has something to overcome.
