How To Live Boldly
A person has around 60,000 thoughts going through his mind every day. This includes both negative and positive thoughts. If more than half of the thoughts are negative then your whole day will be like that. But if you think positive thoughts then you will be happy and enthusiastic that day. A person who thinks happy thoughts will have a special glow on his face.
You can clearly distinguish between people with positive and negative thoughts by looking at their face.
Galatians 5:22-23
‘But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.’
The Holy Spirit in us is the spirit of love and joy. Your future is in his hands. The One who helped you in the past is able to help you in the future too. We need to be strongly rooted in Christ and you will be able to overcome anything that comes against you.
God is always there with you. He will never leave you.
I have heard many people say when they come to church and while the worship is going on they feel the presence of God strongly. Once the service is over and they go back home they no longer feel the presence as deeply as before. Does that mean that the presence of God has left them?
There are many levels in the presence of God-
Remember the principle we learnt a few weeks ago? Fact - Faith - Feeling.
Fact - God is everywhere. No one can change or deny it.
Faith - We need to believe that he is there with you.
Feeling - When you believe that he is with you then you can experience him anywhere you go.
Zechariah 4:6
‘So he said to me, “This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ says the Lord Almighty.’
Let’s take a look at the testimony of Jose from Angamaly. For about five years he was suffering from hernia. It was during that time back in 2018, one Sunday when he came to church he rushed to Pastor to be prayed over. In addition Jose used to lay his hand on his stomach and read out aloud the prayer written in the prayer diary for healing. And everyday he would thank God in advance for the healing that he was going to receive. Few months later, in 2019 he was completely healed of hernia. It’s been 4 years since and he has never had the issue again. Hallelujah!
Summary
The Word of God is true and God breathed. You can’t deny it.
Our prayer should be - God fill me with your spirit. When you are filled with the Holy Spirit then you become superman/superwoman. Hallelujah!
