God Will Give You A Great Future
We can achieve many things in life, we can attain fame and money, but those things need not necessarily make us happy. Someone who is a newsmaker today, may not be around tomorrow. This is all temporary.
There is a great joy that came with the birth of Jesus. That news of joy is what we call the Good News.
1 Corinthians 9:16
For when I preach the gospel, I cannot boast, since I am compelled to preach. Woe to me if I do not preach the gospel!
Romans 1:14
For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile.
Mark 16:15
He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.
Go into all the world and preach the gospel. We have received a command from Jesus to preach the gospel. Apostle Paul says, woe to anyone who does not preach the gospel. The Gospel is the power of God and it brings salvation.
Preaching ministry is different from teaching ministry. Preaching is proclaiming out loud. Teaching is explaining everything. Preach to all creation. It doesn’t say to all humans, but to all creation. So to all creatures, to all living things.
When man fell, all creation too was cursed. The land, the sky, all creatures, everything will be restored. Till then creation groans. This is the power of the good news. All of us who hear and understand have the responsibility of preaching the gospel.
If you are someone who believes in the gospel, you must preach it. It's not about changing one’s religion. There is no changing of religion for a believer of Christ. Preaching is not for changing one's religion. Jesus spoke against religion.
Matthew 23:15
“Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You travel over land and sea to win a single convert, and when you have succeeded, you make them twice as much a child of hell as you are.
Jesus talks about how the teachers of the law and Pharisees travel over land and sea to win a single convert and when they do, they make them twice as worthy of hell. Religion does not save and Jesus was against religion. That is not Christianity and that is not what Christ taught us.
Titus 2:11-14
For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. 12 It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age, 13 while we wait for the blessed hope—the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, 14 who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good.
The good news of great joy is that God is able to save us completely. There is grace enough to save all of mankind. Salvation is for the spirit as well as for the soul and body. That is the full salvation. This is one complete package.
No matter what trouble you’re facing, no matter how deep a pit you are in or how serious your illness is, Jesus can save you, He can heal you. This is the good news.
