Satan Will Soon Be Crushed Under Your Feet
In the past week we saw how Melchizedek blessed Abraham in the name of El ELyon, God Most High with heavenly blessings, earthly blessings, and victory over enemies.
The Bible has so many promises and blessings for us but when we do not know of them they pass us by. We must know them, claim them and walk into them!
Under heavenly blessings we saw how the children of those who follow/ obey God will be blessed. Under earthly blessings we saw how God is looking for faithful stewards to take care of the earth and what is on it which is God’s property.
Victory over enemies is meant for God’s children. Jesus never lost to need a victory. His victory on the cross was for us! God doesn't need to win as Satan is only his creation. A Creator doesn't have to fight against His creation. But He stands as our representative in our fight against Satan. Therefore in Christ, we receive the victory He won for us !
Romans 16:20 “The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus be with you.”

The bible tells us that with the authority we have in Jesus’ name, Satan will be crushed under our feet!
Psalm 91:13 “You will tread on the lion and the cobra; you will trample the great lion and the serpent.”
This is our promise in Christ. We must shake off the thoughts of weakness and discouragements/ depression and walk into this blessing. Jesus was a water-walker and he taught his disciples that with faith, they can be the same too! If we go down under the water, the creatures below will swallow us but victory is ours if instead of looking at the storms and waves, by faith we need to look at our Saviour who won us victory. When we face trials and tribulations in this world, we must remember that we are already fighting from victory; the victory we have in Christ.
Without Jesus we are a ZERO but with Jesus we are a HERO.
Genesis 17:4-8
4 “As for me, this is my covenant with you: You will be the father of many nations. 5 No longer will you be called Abram[a]; your name will be Abraham,[b] for I have made you a father of many nations. 6 I will make you very fruitful; I will make nations of you, and kings will come from you. 7 I will establish my covenant as an everlasting covenant between me and you and your descendants after you for the generations to come, to be your God and the God of your descendants after you. 8 The whole land of Canaan, where you now reside as a foreigner, I will give as an everlasting possession to you and your descendants after you; and I will be their God.”
When God changed Abram’s name ( the exalted one) to Abraham at age ninety nine, his life itself began changing. The name meaning ‘Father of many nations’ became true in his life. The moment he received the revelation of the name, Abraham was restored physically. His old body became like that of a youth, his reproductive organs and hormones were activated and they were able to conceive. They were made young!
Psalm 103:5 “who satisfies your desires with good thing, so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.”
Abraham was rejuvenated physically. This blessing belongs to us too.
He was 99 years-old. He accumulated a lot of wealth and possessions. He was a success in many areas of his life. However, the turning point in his life and in history was just about to happen; his promised son, Isaac! We may have earned many accolades or may have received nothing, but when God speaks over our life is when our life changes!
For 99 years He was called Abram. The name change to Abraham was so significant. 5 No longer will you be called Abram[a]; your name will be Abraham,[b] for I have made you a father of many nations. 6 I will make you very fruitful; I will make nations of you, and kings will come from you.
7 I will establish my covenant as an everlasting covenant between me and you and your descendants after you for the generations to come, to be your God and the God of your descendants after you.
God established a covenant whereby the land of Canaan belonged to Abraham and his descendants. The path of obedience is the path of blessing!
